Vaccine Injury Trust Fund revenue far exceeds expenses

Annual revenue of the Vaccine Injury Trust Fund far exceeds the amount spent on injury claims through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. The program provides compensation to people found to be injured by certain vaccines and is funded through the trust fund by a 75 cent excise tax on each dose of vaccines routinely administrated to children.
